Accessibility Statement

Effective date: September 14, 2026
Last updated: September 14, 2026

Our Commitment

The Flannels is committed to making theflannelsband.com accessible and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.

We believe that everyone should be able to access information about our band, performances, community, videos, and booking opportunities regardless of ability or the technology used to access the Website.

Accessibility Standard

We are working toward substantially conforming the Website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, mobility, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. They also generally improve usability for all visitors.

Because accessibility is an ongoing process, we do not represent that every page or feature currently satisfies every WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criterion.

Accessibility Measures

As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, we aim to:

  • Provide alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Use headings in a logical and understandable order.
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds.
  • Make navigation and interactive elements usable with a keyboard.
  • Provide visible keyboard-focus indicators.
  • Use descriptive link text and accessible labels.
  • Allow text to be resized without losing essential content or functionality.
  • Design content to work across different screen sizes and orientations.
  • Avoid communicating information through color alone.
  • Add captions or other alternatives to video content when reasonably available.
  • Identify and correct accessibility barriers as they are discovered.
  • Consider accessibility when adding or updating Website content, forms, plugins, and features.

Compatibility

The Website is intended to work with current versions of commonly used browsers, operating systems, mobile devices, and assistive technologies.

Accessibility may be reduced when using an outdated browser, unsupported operating system, or older assistive technology. For the best experience, we recommend using current software and enabling available accessibility features.

Third-Party Content

The Website may contain links to or embedded content from third parties, including:

  • Social-media platforms.
  • Video and music services.
  • Event calendars.
  • Maps and venue websites.
  • Ticketing services.
  • Merchandise and payment providers.

We do not control the accessibility of third-party websites, applications, plugins, or embedded content. Although we encourage our providers to offer accessible experiences, third-party content may not meet the same accessibility standards we are working toward.

If you experience difficulty with a third-party service, you may contact that provider directly or notify us so we can try to identify an alternative way to provide the relevant information.

Videos and Audio Content

Some older, live, embedded, or third-party video content may not have complete captions, transcripts, or audio descriptions.

If you need information from a video or audio recording in an alternative format, please contact us and identify the specific content. We will make a reasonable effort to assist.

Event and Venue Accessibility

The Flannels performs at independently operated venues. Venue accessibility—including accessible entrances, seating, restrooms, parking, and accommodations—is controlled by the applicable venue or event organizer.

Please contact the venue directly for current accessibility information. If you have difficulty locating that information, you may contact us, and we will make a reasonable effort to help connect you with the appropriate venue representative.

Feedback and Assistance

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our Website.

If you experience an accessibility barrier, need assistance using the Website, or would like Website information in an alternative format, please contact us:

  • The assistive technology being used, if applicable.
  • The format or accommodation that would help you access the information.

You are not required to disclose a disability or provide medical information.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility-related messages within five business days and will make a reasonable, good-faith effort to provide assistance or correct confirmed barriers.

Alternative Access

If a portion of the Website is not accessible to you, we will make a reasonable effort to provide the requested information through an alternative method, such as accessible electronic text, email, or telephone communication.

The availability and timing of an alternative format may depend on the nature of the content and the request.

Ongoing Improvements

Website technologies, content, and accessibility standards continue to evolve. We intend to periodically review the Website, consider accessibility feedback, and make reasonable improvements as issues are identified.

This statement may be updated to reflect accessibility improvements, new Website features, or changes to applicable standards and guidance.
